FAQ
What services do you offer?
To help ensure that your pets are able to keep to their own routines in the comfort of their own home, we offer the following services: daily pet visits (1-4 times daily), overnight pet sitting in your home, dog walking (1-4 times daily), pet taxi/transportation services to the vet, groomers or wherever they need to go. We also offer house sitting services and delivery/repair wait service. Visit our Services web page for more details.
What kind of pets do you care for?
We have experience caring for a variety of pets including: dogs, cats, fish, birds, mice, hamsters, ferrets, turtles, frogs and other small mammals and reptiles. Do you have a different kind of pet? Please Contact Us with your pet's needs and we will work with you to develop a specialized care plan.
What areas do you serve?
At this time we serve communities in West Volusia County including: Casadaga, Debary, Deland, Deltona, Enterprise, Lake Helen, and Orange City. If you live in another community we may still be able to help you, just Contact Us with your request.
How can I book your services?
If you are a new client, please contact us at 386-490-7931 or send an email from our Contact page to set up a FREE orientation visit in your home so we can get to know you, your pets, and your needs. We'll develop a customized plan for the care of your pets and your home. During our first phone conversation we will tentatively schedule your booking to reserve our services and the booking will be finalized at the orientation visit. New customers are required to pay 50% of the service fee at the end of the orientation visit.
Existing clients can contact us by phone or email to schedule new services - a home visit is not needed; we will just need to verify the dates, times and any new changes to personalized care plan for your pet and your home.
How far ahead do I need to book your services?
It is best to make a reservation at least two weeks in advance (book further ahead during busy holiday periods). This allows us to schedule an orientation meeting if you are a new client and it ensures that we will be able to accomodate your request. We ARE flexible - we realize that situations and emergencies arise at the last minute, so just call us when you need our help! Current clients frequently schedule a visit at the last minute when they realize they have to work late. Don't hesitate to call us - we're here to meet your needs and your pets.
Do I need to sign a contract?
At our orientation visit we will ask you to sign a contract for your first booking with us. All reputable pet sitters and dog walkers require a signed contract. This is for your protection and ours to ensure that everyone clearly understands the services that we will be providing and the care that we will take when you entrust us with your pets and your home. At this time you will also need to sign a Veterinarian Release Form in case your pet requires veterinary care in your absence. After the first booking you will not be required to sign an additional contract as additional services will be delivered in accordance with the terms of the original contract.
How much do your services cost?
Please visit our Services web page for detailed information on our services and prices. We understand that each client is different and we may develop a customized price structure based upon your needs, the number and type of pets you have, and the frequency of our visits. When we meet for the orientation visit we will review the pricing structure with you and agree upon the exact price for the services delivered.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, checks and money orders. New clients are required to pay a 50% deposit on their first booking. Existing clients will receive an invoice and payment is due within 10 days of service.
